This stylish garage sign celebrates a renowned name in the automotive industry, Dunlop Tires. JB Dunlop, a Scottish vet living in Ireland in the late 1800's, invented the pneumatic tyre. He joined forces with Harvey du Cros and they started manufacturing tyres in Dublin in 1889. This garage plaque is made from stunning polished aluminium, and features the early Dunlop brand colours of red and black. The name "Dunlop Tires" appears in bare aluminium in the centre, against a black background. Surrounding the name appears a diamond shape set inside a large rectangle with a background finished in red. This is a lovely piece of auto memorabilia, and is sure to be appreciated by motor industry enthusiasts. Perfect for displaying in a garage, workshop, man cave or office, this sign comes with pre-drilled holes which make it easy to hang on a wall of your choice.
