AB Studios Rice Paper A4 - 2692

Produced in Poland, AB Studios Rice paper is very easy to use on all different kinds of surfaces and is ideal for mixed media projects.

Rice paper is the best of all types of materials for beginners because it is translucent, elastic and very delicate to the touch. Rice paper is thin and very durable and flexible, easy to apply to any surface of the object without visible wrinkles. Just a little glue to decoupage, and the paper will nicely hold the surface. On some rice papers, fibres are visible which do not interfere with gluing or the finished look.

Perfect to use in decoupage and be used also for scrapbooking, card making and collage.

Each sheet measures approximately:  210 x 297 mm, 34-35 g/m2

For Best Results:

• Paint the surface with a light or white coloured background so the image will show against the transparency of the paper. 
• Tear around images rather than cutting them out with scissors. the frayed edges will blend more easily into the background.
• Apply a layer of decoupage medium to the surface, then place the paper. If you are covering a large area, it is best to do it a section at a time. Frenchic Finishing Coat works very well as a decoupage medium.
• Once the paper is positioned correctly, apply another layer of glue over the top.
  
• Let top layer fully dry before applying a second coat of decoupage medium or varnish.
• Do not touch your rice paper when it is wet.
• Use a soft brush with flat / wide bristles (golden taklon works well).
